With Argus - Remote Surveillance you can watch on your mobile phone the images captured by a video camera that is attached to your computer. The system has two components: a server component, which is installed on the desktop PC and which is responsible for video capture and streaming, and a client component, installed on the phone, responsible for video rendering.
Argus-RS is simple to setup and simple to use. You can find it useful in as many situations as you can imagine, here are only a few examples: watching the children when you are not at home, keeping under observation your work place, monitoring an operating machinery or even supervising your employees when you are traveling. Special features: alarm triggered by motion detection support for multiple cameras.
System requirements:

Video capture device (web cam, digital camera, TV tuner, etc.)

Personal computer connected to the Internet

The phone must be able to connect to the Internet, so the Internet GPRS services must be activated.
